Silver has been found in the brains of cadavers by autopsy, misleading some to believe that silver causes brain damage in high doses over time. Obviously, it crossed any barriers in order to get there to be found.
Silver is also used to stain damaged brain tissue for diagnostic purposes. ["ag/cu staining"] Apparently, silver has an affinity for 'damaged' brain tissue rather than being the cause of the damage. Whether or not CS will 'cure' all cases of any cancer wherever it may be is a question that's up for grabs. I have a friend with a large brain tumor who is now [supposedly] substituting CS for water. ...we'll see...
