The meat tenderizer is what I used on all insect stings. What it does is
digest proteins, and the venom is a form of protein that is easily digested by
the tenderizer. I was wondering if it would work on the brown recluse. Thanks
for the confirmation.

My friend's husband has had several BR bites.

Anyway the remedy I use on the brown recluse spider bite is Adolph's Meat
Tenderizer and Vaseline petroleum jelly to make it stick the to bite......put
your finger in the Vaseline and then shake some ADOLPH'S.....has to have Papaya
Extract in it!!!....and put it on the bite sight for about 15
minutes....remember though, you are meat too....so not too long with the
tenderizer on you....but that will draw out the venom for sure and there should
be no scars or dead skin if you put it on right away.......do it if you even
think you got it by this spider....it won't hurt that's for sure.....

Very common here in Florida. Sure send it to me too. Why don't you post
it to the list?
