Please, guys, before you recommend any kind of technology for zapping brown recluse or any other bites be *DAMNED* sure you know what you're talking about...
I'm speaking from memory right now, but I know that electricity starts getting dangerous when you're talking a few *tens* of milliamps, let alone 350 milliamps. Think of it another way: According to ohm's law, it takes a resistance of over 70k Ohms to limit 25 kilovolts to only .350 amps... Even dry skin connections are lower than 70 kilohms, right? Oh, and what about those 15 kilovolt, 30ma neon sign transformers? Would you like to rectify one of those and then grab onto it? Why not? It's something like 200 times *less* energetic than 25 kilovolts and 350 milliamps would be? Do I make my point? 25 kilovolts at 350 milliamps sounds dangerous as hell. Deadly dangerous. Until I hear a precise, technically competent explanation for those numbers I wouldn't trust them. Are the numbers are correct, and if so, exactly how is the protocol done so as to protect the user from injury or death? What are the *actual* voltage and current levels delivered into the tissues? Thank you.
