Hi, Members of the List, It seems to me that there are tacit assumptions sometimes made about generating LVDC EIS that could be questioned:
1. Production of sediments is undesirable. 2. Silver is more costly than distilled water. 3. The electrolysis process should be accomplished in one cycle. I have tried generating sediments just to manufacture poultices consisting of coffee filters entrained with the gray fuzzies and silvery sols. This was inspired by the mention of Muller's investigation of the benefits of silver oxides applied topically in Argyria: The Pharmacology Of Silver. If I let the LVDC EIS sit for a day and tried to generate more sediments, it took a considerble amount of time for the electrolysis process to start producing sediments again. I conjecture this is due to the relaxation of short-lived radicals in EIS during overnight "curing." Meanwhile, the Tyndall Effect gets stronger than the previous day's brew, or so it seems from subjective inspectio9n. Does anybody use re-brewing alternated with sediment filtration and relaxation to achieve higher PPMs? It may seem wasteful of silver (and maybe time and effort) but a number of people have noted that the cost of DW is actually much greater than the cost of Ag, in the long run.
