Yes, I did, and we've discussed him here previously.
My concern is just what is in the article he references.
Since the (onsite) April '04 issue of 'Federal Practitioner' has been
replaced with the May issue, the actual article cited 
(presumably, "...Argyria in the Silver State. 
Federal Practitioner 21(4):9-17, 2004...")
seems, at this point, readily unavailable.

Back issues can be ordered, but may require affiliation.
I like how Mr. Quackwatch makes up his words,
"...Argeriua is a condition in which silver salts deposit 
in the skin, eyes, and internal organs, and the skin turns 
ashen-gray..."---'argeriua'? 
If the two cases are anything like the 'other 7' Barrett lists,
debunking will be a breeze.  Will continue the online search for
the actual article, side-stepping Barrett's hysteria.
May even stop in the local VA Hospital to see if they've a copy.
The other discussion list I'm on insists on scientific specifics,
tho they didn't provide the article either.
