Hi Christine, in response to yours, see my reponse to James Holmes & also my original post (also read further down re: Janis Eells syntonic phototherapy). The questions I brought up originally still remain unresolved. During my stint with FM, yet years ago I'd subscribed to FM newsletter & had read all sorts of theories related to FM including mycoplasma which was part of the humongous jumble of info. There are too many "decoy-type" of issues (such as EMFs or chemicals or bacterial/candidal advices) which are diverting people from the obvious issue of photosensitivity. For example, many people wear sunglasses outside, yet EVEN **WITH** SUNGLASSES, THEY DON'T STARE DIRECTLY AT THE SUN! Yet people expect to stare hours at a stretch DIRECTLY AT COMPUTER SCREENS with impunity? Furthermore, I think that John Ott, with all his research on fluorescense vs. broad-spectrum lighting, may not have conducted thorough research. Because, did he ever compare infra red lighting vs. broad-spectrum? Rather than just fluorescense vs. broad-spectrum? I don't know for sure, does anyone? Janis Eells may be more on target with syntonic phototherapy (http://www.syntonicphototherapy.com/online/page.cfm?Directory=32&SubPage=34 Also, who says that staring DIRECTLY at ANY lighting (especially if it's BRIGHT) is advisable, especially for photosensitives? I think it may be dim infra-red that may be best, or even a projector, rather than staring directly at lighting, no matter how dim or no matter what color. Here's a newsgroup posting by women on a fibromyalgia group. One says her face gets red from fluorescent lights, another responded that her face gets red from her computer: http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&th=8624a7f12dc1c6f&rnum=1 __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
