Evening JOH,
That is an interesting and attention getting article.

I had briefly studied MRSA before my spider bite, and before Dr. Ron
Strickland called me a few times to warn me about it.
He did get my attention and I am appreciative of his concern. After
more study, I realized I had not been any of the places where most people
contact MRSA such as hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, and doctors offices.
Even two local friendly nurses tried to convince me to get a culture. I
had weakened at one point and considered venturing into the most dangerous
places in the world.
In the end, my instinct and mind set told me not to do it.
Study of the immune system suggests that its capability is infinite. Even
the scientist that have studied it, state that one can study it a lifetime
and still not know all about it.
My questions is, could a strong and fully functional immune system
identify and attack MRSA in such a manner to render it harmless?
I realize that this person may not exist, and few exist upon the earth
today. I certainly don't claim to be the one for the test.
I have made the point before that most test and studies have been done
using weakened individuals with weakened immune systems. I make this
statement because virtually everyone is weakened in some manner due to our
food chain and many other perils of civilization.
Studies that use food, drugs, or nutrients on people with compromised
immune systems proves little.
Since there are few health people and many sick people, all studies seem
worthless compared to a small test like the doctor did in 1913 when
treating malaria.
Due to my wife being terminal, disrupted daily activities, not even time to
buy the few foods I feel are worthwhile, I can tell my overall health and
immune system has declined rapidly within the last few months.
Finally... a small test. One day this week I was welcomed with a wasp
sting over the left eye.
The pain lasted longer, more swelling, even the eyelid was very puffy and
some pain lasted over 24 hours. There was some sign of the incident for 36
to 48 hours. Never before in my life has a wasp, honey bee, or bumble bee
caused this to happen.
You can guess the treatment..... Absolutely Nothing ! How else can I see
the capability of the body and its defense system.
Several mosquitoes have bitten me, several fire ant bites, and a number of
cuts and skined places all happened within the last two weeks.
My immune system never gets a vacation. We need to feed it and strengthen
it anyway we can.
Still, I step over all the MRSA critters I see, just like snakes.
