Whoever wrote the quote said "everyone" gets shingles more than once if I'm
not mistaken. I think it was Nina.

Now what does the word "everyone" mean to you?

Since when does "numerous cases" include "everyone"?
Last I heard they were mutually exclusive terms.

Who mentioned anything about malaria?

END OF QUOTE

I read that as stuff is 95 y.o. man! :-) Ya get a lot more respect then.
Actually, old hands in the "FAR East" get Malaria resurgence as a warning that they are stuffing things up again.........
Shingles I do personally know of working identically. Numerous cases.

SO new conclusion:
The 95 y.o. man is simply born and bred of good stock and tough.
Stuff is either healthy and faking his other symptoms, or "the exception to prove the rule". :-)

Himagain - Just after hearing that a local girl 102 y.o. has "decided to write a book and tell everyone the truth about things that went on" after she realised that not one of the characters was still around to do anything about it..................
