Thora,
The word, “degenerative”, is referring to advanced
mineral deficiencies. Your relative needs to supply
her body with the minerals it is leaching from her
backbone. To do this, several supplements will help.
One is large quantities of MSM. Use capsules, not
tablets, if possible. Start with 1,000 mg 2xday for a
week, then double that for a week, then go to 2,000 mg
3xday. Some folks have found the most dramatic
benefits at 8,000 to 10,000 mg per day. It is not
toxic and no overdose is known. But it can precipitate
a healing crisis if too much is taken too fast. That
is why I have suggested increasing the intake
gradually. To optimize its effectiveness, an equal
amount of glucosamine sulfate can be taken, or half as
much glucosamine hydrochloride. An equal amount of
chondroitin makes it even more effective.

As important as the above is, a product called
Concentrace is equally important. It is the most
comprehensive, concentrated mineral supplement on the
market, containing every mineral needed by the human
body (albeit, in trace levels). It also happens to be
the most economical. With Concentrace, one should
start off with 5 drops in a glass of water 2xday, and
gradually increase it until a level is reached where
loose stools are experienced, then decrease it a bit
to avoid the loose stools. Concentrace has a bitter
taste, so if that’s an issue, the easiest way to get
around the taste is to determine how much Concentrace
can be put into a glass of water without the taste
being particularly noticed, then computed as to how
much to put into a gallon of drinking water. For
instance, if 2 drops of Concentrace is the most that
can be put into 8 oz of water before your relative
objects to the taste, then 32 drops could be put into
one gallon. At 3 drops in 8 oz, you would put 48 drops
into a gallon. If your relative is drinking anywhere
near as much water as he/she should, they would be
getting a regular supply of quality minerals as they
drink their water. For further information on this
mineral “leaching” dynamic in the body, let me know
and I will send you a file that goes more in-depth
about it.

Another very important thing is giving your body the
appropriate kind of calcium. Most (but not all) folks
with bone/joint degenerative issues have an acid pH,
which indicates a deficiency of alkaline calcium. In
that case, Coral calcium appears to be appropriate, or
even better, calcium hydroxide. Stay away from calcium
carbonate, which is merely ground-up oyster shell. To
determine what is needed, you should obtain pH paper
(not litmus paper) that measures in .2 increments, and
test the urine and saliva morning and evening for 6
days. Email me the results, and I will tell you what
calcium is needed, plus other things indicated by the
numbers. Litmus paper measures in .5 increments, not
nearly accurate enough. Many Health Food stores carry
good pH paper. If you can’t find it, I can send it to
you.

Chiropractic adjustment may be appropriate also, but
try to find a chiropractor who has an Alternative
Health orientation, not a clinical/medical one.

EFT can have a significant benefit with bone/joint
issues. See www.emofree.com
