To make a 10% DMSO solution from a 70% solution you will need slightly more DMSO than if you were starting from a 99% (which for simplicity's sake we treat as a 100% solution when calculating an approximate dilution). You can dilute DMSO with distilled water but the CS just adds another beneficial substance, if you have it available.
1 part 100% DMSO and 9 parts CS = 10% DMSO CS solution So if you want a total of say ten ounces, you would use one ounce (= 2 tablespoons) DMSO and 9 ounces of CS. If you start with a 70% DMSO solution and use the above proportions you will end up with a 7% DMSO solution. For oral ingestion you do not have to dilute it at all. 2-3 teaspoons is a therapeutic oral dose, although many have used higher doses. I dilute it with CS as 99% or even 70% is going to make your stomach feel very warm, could give you a slight transient headache and may be some discomfort. I take it on an empty stomach. For topical use most find 70% or greater to generate some itching, and on sensitive areas such as the face, to be too drying. DMSO dehydrates skin and pulls all the oils out, so moisturizing with aloe vera gel before helps. I generally tell people to start around 30% topically until they know if their skin is sensitive. I have used 99% DMSO on a crushed finger and it made it so dehydrated and dry that it felt like leather after only 30 seconds in the DMSO. I used Emu Oil and Essential Lavendar Chamomile Oil every hour or so for the rest of the day and the skin felt normal by then, about five total applications. The injury was invisible, no signs of the crushing or bruising, but I dipped it into the DMSO within seconds of injuring it. Compressing the DMSO, CS and any other herbal remedies over the ovaries for about 20 minutes would help deliver it to the body tissues and close to the ovaries. A tincture could be mixed with the DMSO and CS. Some make herb tinctures with DMSO, but this takes time to macerate and then extract the herb. I would be drinking CS in large quantities if it were me. Like 2-3 quarts a day. I used DMSO and CS to cure my dog of pyometra. I infused her directly using a cattle pipette. She felt better within four hours of a 50% DMSO 5 ppm CS infusion. I elevated her rear end for a few minutes after infusing her. I followed this several days latter with another infusion of 30% DMSO and 7.5 ppm CS. DMSO orally will be anti-inflammatory and has some antimicrobial activity all by itself. But the Silver will help and the DMSO will ensure an even distribution, whether applied topically or taken orally. You can compress the area several times a day. There are other compresses, like Castor Oil that is drawing, that could be alternated. Search on Edgar Cayce and Castor Oil for more information. The Association for Research and Enlightenment has archives of all his readings. Home Health produces many of his remedies. High doses of Vit C are also a good idea. 10-20 grams a day of Ascorbic Acid mixed with a bit of baking soda in water (to buffer the acidity) taken to bowel tolerance (if it gives you diarhhea slack off the dose a bit). Take it in divided doses every 2-3 hours. Garnet On Mon, 2004-07-26 at 23:21, Gladys Williams wrote: > Dear List-- If I have ever failed to say thank you in the past > please forgive me.
