Just checked the 10th Edition of Goodman and Gilman's Pharmacological Basis of Therapeutics, the standard reference on pharmacology in this country and around the world, just to be sure. The only Gold that has shown the above effects are gold compounds, not colloidal or elemental gold as you stated. There is no mention of gold that is not a gold compound which have a vastly different chemistry in the body than elemental gold which is regularly ingested as a food product around the world, as well as consumed therapeutically. There are no reports of toxicity that I can find. Perhaps you would like to provide them since you feel that "the burden of proof is on the one stating a proposition".
