You could also try heated castor oil packs over the liver -
but I don't know how difficult that would be with your dog...

There are other cleanses that do not use Epsom Salts. Google Liver or
Gall Bladder cleanse. I do not know of anyone using it on a dog but you
might post at the CS Cats and Dogs List on Yahoo.
