Hi Jim, I'm not sure what all the symptoms are but let me tell you a personal experience.
My next door neighbor raises chickens. Maybe a hundred or so. One day she called and told me they had a disease that was causing their heads to hang to one side. She said it was a fatal disease and wanted to know if CS would help. I had no idea but provided her with plenty of CS to put in her watering devices. She said that within a couple of days all their heads resumed the upright position and they seemed healthy. None died. I hope this helps.
