dwanpete, this is PanAmPete, and I understand you have "MS". I am
currently taking and have been for nearly 1 1/2 yrs a drug put out by
Advanced Viral Research Corp. in Yonkers, NY, called AVR118. It is
in the 2nd stage clinical trial required by the FDA. It had been on the
market since the early 30s and in doctor's PDRs until
1962 under the name of "Reticulose'. The
formula was changed a minute bit, and then
the FDA required "it" to start all over again! In April 2003 I had a
"pulmonary
embollism", plus advanced "Emphesema" and was guven 6 mos.. I had
heard of this drug through friends, and now get it by way of Canada. I
receive it for "compassionate use" which is okay by the FDA. All Iknow is

I am back working full time at age 67yrs, and alive and kicking! I have
a friend in TENN. whose wife had/has "MS" for the past 20 yrs plus, and was
w/chr bound 23 out of 24hrs/day, but now after taking the AVR118 by injection
is mobile and going out fishing, dancing and other things she couldn't do
before!
Of course she lost some muscle from nonuse but never the less, ceases to
amaze me and her doctors. BTW, Advanced Viral Research is listed on the
