A tv degausser operates off of AC voltage. When you mention a magpulser, I would assume this is a trade name for a pulsating unit that operates off of a negative or northern DC magnetic field. In my experience with magnets and pulsating electromagnetic therapy, the negative DC field is the most effective for pain relief.
