Some pathogens have the ability to escape into the lymph system, where EIS does not help. Mono is an example. The lymph system extends into the neck and head, according to the map of lymph sites given on page 43 of Beck Protocol. Perhaps this explains how some colds may defeat EIS. In which case, alternate protocols may help.
