Another good herb is neem.  People use it for cancer, skin eruptions, (I've had 
great success with eczema, simply sponging the tea on and letting it dry.)  
it's anit-fungal, antibiotic, anti-viral, anti-parasitic.  My hubby takes it in 
a mixture for diabetes and it helps lower blood sugar, along with turmeric, 
gymnema and some other herbs.  I'm told that in India, flies don't gather near 
neem trees.  
 
I bought a horse from another state; she came loaded with ticks.  I made a tea 
with neem and bathed sponged it on where they were hiding.  They just fell off 
in my hands.
