Some people need a physical validation of what they are sensing. Other are more intuitive and not so questioning. Personally I pay a lot of attention to what foods I am craving and when it is during my monthly cycle, for those still cycling. And this includes men, they cycle on a ~72 cycle of sperm productiong and have many of the same hormones as women. I swear they have a male version of PMS and Perimenopause.
