I don't think so. I got advice and suggestions on the OT list and am now using ZoneAlarm free version and AVG free version and Ad-Aware free version, and a handful of free programs from grisoft (hope I remember that right) and test my system regularly. All of these are easier to use and more convenient than Norton/Symantec, and cause less conflicts too. Just be sure the first thing you do is get your security in place ASAP.
