Scleroderma is a rare condition caused by heavily crosslinked skin and tissues..collagen crosslinking is the primary process in a number of fibrotic diseases,ie Dupuytrens contracture[of the fingers],Peyronies disease, etc.I have successfully treated Peyronies disease myself[when the Drs.wouldn't even talk about it] with PABA ,Para-Amino-Benzoic-Acid,using large doses over a period of time.A side benefit of PABA is,for the first time in my life[I am in my early eighties] I was able to sit out in the full sun and get a good tan and not a severe sun-burn.The treatment for scleroderma is not a quick fix,it takes time; in my case it was approx two years . Good health to all; Harold
