I would suggest people get and read "The Earth Chronicles" by Zacharia Sitchen.There are seven books in the series and they are the most definitive of the source of "Gods" and the origin of "Man" that I have read.Z.Sitchen spent over thirty years researching ancient texts and hieroglyphics to compile these books.Well worth it.
