The real reason is that both pasteurisation and homogenisation are like
most "improvements" in our food chain:
They allow for far greater shelf/transport life = far greater profits.
Don't forget to put 6-8 drops of CS into each 2 litres of milk
BUT unless you are "pre-digesting" the milk ( making Kefir) it IS pretty
well proved to be another wrong thing - we like it 'cos it's white! :-)

In Oz we grow locally in S.E. Queensland, a fabulous strawberry. It is
disease-resistant, low water tolerant, and the TASTE!
The "trade" won't touch them because they aren't hardy enough for transport
and storage. They are real strawberries.......
BTW: If the animals are being fed grain diets ....... don't drink the milk.
