DMSO and CS works for every abscess I have used it on. Had one puppy that formed them on his neck when he got his shots. I knew what it was immediately and applied 30% DMSO diluted with 10 ppm CS. After the first 24 hrs it was reduced in half, I applied it a total of three times topically and that was all it took to clear the abscess totally. This happened twice.
DMSO will deliver the CS into the abcess and has anti-bacterial properties of its own. Also increases circulation and reduces pain. She could spray it on throughout the day or compress the area.
