Why do you need to spray the stumps with CS? Do you use them for something?
The cut stump is like a cut on a person. The roots are still alive and open
to infection. I leave the old stump in the ground and plant a new seedling next
to it. Root rot fungus can get into the cut wind blown or water and kill the
new seedling if their roots are close enough. Some fungus travels by water
streaming by, so even close can be deadly. Older tree farms are finding
problems
where the first rotation didn't have any problem. My tree farm is 40 years
old. The root rot can even grow mushrooms on the old stump. Brooks Bradley said
that type of fungus is tough for CS to handle, that is why I added CCu. Even
extracting the stump doesn't stop the fungus. It is similar to what Napa
grapefarms had where they fumigated the soil 5 feet deep. I understand the
chemical
Napa used is now banned.

I returned my personal humidifier to Walgrens today. It had a switch that was
sticking sometimes on sometimes off. The manager gave me a new unit but let
me know they have a 14 day window for exchanges.

I don't make visitors shower first going to the hot tub. Why shower if CS
kills the germs on contact? I also wondered why people are not using CS to
disinfect clothes in their wash machines rather than using chlorine bleach. So
far
my hot tub water seems to be clear, only problem was adjusting pH, had to use
chemicals.
