I don't know if CS works or not. I don't think it will ever hurt and certainly worth using it. I would suggest to take it as a continuous low dosage. Add to a water bottle and sip all day.
There is now a second phase FDA approved clinical trials using all natural herbs. Does look very promising. Long term use of the product - six months or longer. HONSO sells two types of Sho-saiko-to. Exact same formula except only 1/2 the strength. The professional H09 is the formula strength used in the study. A Google search will find lots of places selling Liver Kampo. It is not for everybody, and as in the case with all Chinese herbal formulas, a correct differential diagnosis is required. Xiao Chai Hu Tang is a very popular Chinese herb formula widely available in many forms. The price varies from a few dollars a bottle to a average price of $25 a bottle.
