I don't know about anybody else, but I feel relatively powerless to stop this and other governmental travesties. I have already written my congressmen twice, I think they are ignoring me. I have signed petitions, I have donated cash to organizations that claim to be working to prevent this (but I have no idea if they really are). I have told everyone I know to do the same.
Yet I get the feeling that our efforts are equivalent to trying to stop a train by spreading cobwebs acoss the track. We don't have enough people who are aware of it and not enough of those care enough to do something about it. Enter the underground: the black market for supplements. We will have to purchase our vit C from some rogue dealer under cover of night. Health is something that will become illegal. Law abiding citizens will be sick most of the time and will be paying even more to their doctors to alleviate their symptoms. We alternative medicine freaks will be criminals and end up in prison because we we were caught with 1000mg Vit C caps in our possession! Think I will take a year off and write a novel about this.
