Dan (different Dan)- I'm not trying to be as ill as I just now was with Marshall. You haven't done anything to deserve that. But- no they're not the same thing, I never said they were, and I was only using the example of propane to expose the dangers of transporting large pressurized bottles of gases in unsafe manners.
As the other Dan pointed out, it would appear that I had been misinformed as to the need for transporting oxygen in a like manner as explosive gases. It would appear that the gas industry treats all tanks the same, just for consistent safety, even though not legally required to do so.
