Not all motivation is due to money is something which I have to agree with. I think it is important to find out what the "intention" is behind the motivation. If it is honest and sincere with emphasis on helping others more then themselves ( selfless service ) with money being a partial reward; Then I believe this is good intention for motivation. "Love what you do and the money will follow." There are people in this world who love what they do and because we live in a world of commerce, we need to pay for things to live.
I would like to take this opportunity to point out that not all motivation is due to money. Many people derive benefit from things other than money, and the results are sometimes no better than that which is done for money. Many people do not even recognize or admit the true origin of their motivation.
