Hi folks,
I'm not averse to using anything that works - I remember watching a major
thoracic surgery operation in China - back in the days when it was still
really a Bamboo Curtain thing - in perfect symbiosis. The anaesthetic was
by Acupuncture, the surgery by western operating techniques.
Some parts - like the Curate's egg - are quite good. E.G. Modern surgical
techniques are simply amazing. It is pharmamedicine that is the real danger.
Remember this?
FIRST HUMAN HEART TRANSPLANT:
December 3, 1967
On December 3, 1967, 53-year-old Lewis Washkansky receives the first
human heart transplant at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town, South
Africa.
( It was the medical treatment that killed him - the heart was still
working fine when he died .... of infection. They had shut down his immune
system.)
Cheers,
Himagain
