Hi mborger and Happy Holidays! I use the same lemon juice and have found NO problems. These 3 chemicals are added as preservatives so your product will be delicious until used up. The quantity of each is mini-small, much like the "pinch of salt" or "dash of seasoning" used in most recipes. I believe this to be as good as Fresh Lemon Juice and much handier and more economical.
