Yep, and sometimes the early signs can be subtle, and if one is very confident from not catching a single one in two years, and is busy, one might not pay attention to those earliest signs. *one* would be me. And after all, even though the thing took 4.5 weeks, CS did it's most important job of stopping secondary infections, which are the more serious ones, and for me (for 58 yrs) it has always been the secondary bacteria infections that made me REALLY sick.
