Just a comment, copper can also destroy one's sense of smell. My sense
of smell was destroyed by a product called NasalCrom.
I was very lucky in that after more than a year, it did come back. No
longer works as well as it did previously, and years later I still get
olfactory "hallucinations" sometimes, I.E. smell things that are not
there, or smells get "misinterpreted", and smell like something entirely
different. I did not use the product very long, either. It did it's
smell destroying thing rapidly. The allergist I consulted didn't think
my sense of smell would ever return.
It sounds like a silly thing, but having mine gone for a year and some,
made me realize just how important and useful the snese of smell is.
Wish I had some advice or help, Paul, aspergillus sounds perfectly
awful, and no sense of smell is debilitating, and scary.

I have used xylitol with CS, but it seems to make it worse.
Then I found that aspergillus eats xylitol. It also like copper, and
grows better at concentrations up to 500ppm.
Colloidal zinc was suggested by someone, but I have read that zinc can
destroy your sense of smell. Permanently. I was hoping to get mine
back eventually :-)
Please keep suggesting things guys and gals. I have been fighting this
for 4 years, but I'm hoping I have missed something.
