Here I am again with my many years ago bit; A report came out about Roofers / shinglers not suffering with prostate cancer or other afflictions because they used galvanized [zinc coated] roofing nails,which they held in their mouths.Evidently the acid in the saliva leached minute quantities of zinc off into the system.When the makers of the nails went to Cadmium coating,which was cheaper, this benefit was lost..As you all know,it turns out cadmium is a heavy metal poison. Thirty some years ago I suffered with prostate problems and after reading Adelle Davis' book "Let's Get Well" where-in she mentioned Zinc and prostate ,I finally was able to stop the misery; no thanks to the Drs.
