I have done some researching on the net and found that H2O2 tends to oxydize when the solution is acid, and reduce when it is basic. So it is quite possible that the ratio of Ag2 particles to Ag2O solute may be easily moved from one to the other by simply also adding a slight amount of acid or base, such as citric acid, or baking soda.
