>He found a podiatrist who sent him to Toys-R-Us to buy 200 marbles. He
sits down and dumps the marbles out on the floor and picks them up one
at a time with his toes and drops them into a container also on the
ground. This simple exercise done daily has completely eliminated his
debilitating foot and leg pain...<

And what would I tell my wife and kids? That I'd lost my marbles? Nah, they
would would tell ME that:)

Seriously, I'll bet it's a good idea, and I would add to it that one should
roll the marbles around on the floor underfoot for a while first. Several
years ago when my foot and leg pains were at their worst, I would walk every
night in a bed of smooth 3/8" pea gravel, about 6" deep, back and forth
several times. My feet would sink up in the gravel making walking difficult
and keeping my balance a challenge. It was very effective. Wonderful massage
for my feet and I could feel stress drain off of my shoulders. This marble
thing may do something similar.

I think I need to resurrect my old idea of building a box about 10' long by
2' wide by 8" deep and fill it with pea gravel, walk in it every night.
