Sally, others, I think it would be a really good idea *not* to talk about Michael Moore on the main list. It is impossible to examine anything he has done without delving *deeply* into the divisive and therefore prohibited topic of general politics.
I'm sure I'm not alone in detesting the fellow for his dishonest and underhanded propaganda techniques. Even if he turned his talents to support of a cause I agreed with, I would not be able to forgive him for his methods. I would be suspicious of his motives in any case, afraid that he'd ultimately hurt our cause as likely as help it. Sorry, folks. I know some of you like Moore and, as Sally remarks, "bless" him. Unfortunately, there's plenty that feel, just as strongly, the opposite. Let's not go there on the main list, please. The Off Topic List will give us a place to air our opinions on the subject.
