Newbee Hello with a question for Mike: Hey Mike, you recently clarified my thinking on annealing copper on Jim's coil group. Was looking through the Archives here for a reference or pointer to determining how to convert high voltage AC to DC - object being optimum CS production. My intent is to use a variac to control an AC microwave oven transformer (similar to the way we now use it for CG), but I want a DC current. (Sure would like to have found the schematic for the 160 VDC constant current CS generator circuit that Steve Young and Bruce A talked about in messages about 15 Oct 03.) As an aside, I noticed that Ellie (SilverSurfer) made a post concerning my CG set-ups at my BioChi site on the regular list. Thought it would have been here, if anywhere. I posted this message here because I saw nothing that rudimentary or mechanical on the on-topic list. If anyone can point me to any kind of reference, I'd appreciate it.
