It is "mycoplasm", and the Lyme bacterium is a spirochete called
"Borellia burgdorferi" named for a Dr. Burgdorf.
I knew the latter bacteria all too well... :o(

Lyme is not caused by a mycoplasma. It is caused by an intracellular
organism, Borellia Burgdorfi.
