Mike -- this caught my attention.  Secondary infections?  Are you saying that 
the virus infection will reappear?  Or that because the immune system is busy 
dealing with a virus, other types of infections can pop up?  I'm asking 
because my 83-year-old Mom -- who takes a small amount of CS pretty much daily 
-- 
can seem to have a virus knocked out, and then a couple days later, she's sick 
again.  This has had me baffled.  Secondary infections could be the culprit.  
Of course -- I can't entirely trust her to take as much CS as I tell her to, 
or as often.  She's very capable of giving me *lip service* and doing exactly 
as she likes -- which would be what SHE thinks is best, instead of taking my 
word for it.    MA
