Why shoot it when you can nebulize, and get the additional benefit of high 02 saturation.
The one-patient plastic nebulizers used in ERs and Hospitals run on about 20 psi. This is approximately 2L/Min. All you need is one of the nebulizers and a regulated bottle of O2. It probably does not produce as fine an aerosol as Brooks' team's airbrush, but it is much easier to use, and makes a fog-like mist that will do the job. I recently had a respiratory adventure culminating in a Sunday morning ER visit. I believe the acute asthma-like symptoms were triggered by exposure to mouse allergens.
