Interesting. I have a relative who has to catheterize himself to relieve his bladder. Obviously, this results in a great risk of urinary tract infections. Generally, a consistent preventative dose of CS keeps him clean. On the rare occasions when he's gotten an infection anyway, he's actually been able to infuse CS directly into the bladder through the catheter, in much the way Brooks has already described. (Though I should probably suggest he look into the DMSO augmentation.) Be well, Mike D.
