Mike D, Could I please have the web address of that cats and dogs group you mentioned. Also if other members know of animal and pet groups who have experience with colloidal silver, I'd very much like to get those addresses too. I'm compiling a little list.
I personally spoke to a lady recently who claimed a single (big) shot in the mouth of CS cured her horse, in one day, of some kind of e-coli lung infection that 6 months of anti-biotics had failed to overcome. ''Hi Guys I regularly add 5ppm ionic colloidal silver to my fishtanks. It seems to work wonders particularly when I had an outbreak of various fungus in the tank. I took out the charcoal in the filter which is supposed to take out metallic elements in the water just in case it was going to take the silver out of the water and rather than add these awful chemical preparations I used CS instead. Within a week the whole tank was better and those that had suffered severe fin damage from the fungus started growing their fins back which to be honest isnt' something that I saw in my tank before I started using the CS in the water! I have aggerssive fish who regularly attack others and CS has brought a couple back from situations where previously they would have died. I haven't done any decent tests on it, but it seems as though I need to change the water less and the fish are much healthier generally. I recommend it to anyone who has diseases in their tanks as the commercially available water treatments for fish illnesses really mess with the water quality and the health of the other fish.
