I would like to make the eye formula below but am having trouble finding pure Glutathione without a lot of fillers and additives. Since it is meant to be used in the eyes with DMSO I think it would not be desirable to have any adulterants in it.
Can anyone give a good source or brand for the appropriate Glutathione or comment on additives? How much Glutathione would be required to make a saturated solution (of about 25ml as indicated below)? Any comment on the vitamin C? The bulk of the solution is composed of distilled water. We have used a similar methodology many times in similar cases. Do remember to introduce the DMSO into the distilled water (not the other way around). We have found small difference in effectiveness between 10% DMSO and 6% DMSO, (as a standalone or) as a fragment....in a majority of protocols involving additional fractions of other, compatible substances. Additionally, 6% is, usually, below even the superficial pain/discomfort threshold----for a majority of volunteers using DMSO via topical application in the eyes. As a matter of interest; we have enjoyed quite measured success with DMSO as a major component in protocols addressing cataracts in horses....and experimental human volunteers.
