From what I read on the web, they are constructed something like a CS generator, but have a permeable membrane to keep the acid and alkaline water separated, the electrodes are typically titanium, and they cost a lot - over $500 usually. I suppose if one used silver electrodes, one could have the benefits of EIS as well as high pH water. Might this be the next advance in CS generators? Does anyone have plans for building one? Has anyone built their own, and if so, what are your results? Terry Chamberlain posted a website that had plans for one, but it was not a flow-through version, and I think there should be simpler designs and construction methods.
