Well, I went for a checkup today, to one of the only docs in town who does Medicaid and is accepting new patients. She is a nice lady, she is from Romania, but she obviously thinks CS is weird, and that too much stomach acid causes heartburn. (I told her about the low stomach acid/gas connection, but she pooh-poohed the idea.) She wants me to have a bunch of blood work, a colonoscopy, an EKG, an abdominal ultrascan, and at least I can get the foot X rays I asked for! (I want to see how the arthritis in them is progressing.) I`m going to pass on the darn colonoscopy, as I hated the one I had, and anyway IF I get colon cancer, I`ll be really glad. (My ticket Home!) I told her my entire CS story, but she can`t get a handle on it. Oh well. Maybe later I can get to her! I`m feeling really crummy, weak and achy all over, some pain under my ribs, and my feet really annoy me now, especially when I have been lying down a while. Probably old Lyme Disease damage.
