"Patents are not granted on devices which do not work" Statement patently not true and not proof of anything. Proof that something "works" is not requirement for getting a patent and patent office people aren't qualified to know what does and doesn't work. There have been so many patents issued for perpetual motion machines..that don't work.. that the patent office long ago decided to stop considering them. They don't need a patent because no one steals things that don't work. ie: To quote WC Fields..."Don't bother me, kid"
