Sounds like me!
I think this will chime in with what many of the others have said.

I dragged myself around for years. No idea what was wrong. Drs no help. Eventually I thought Well, if the Royal Family have gone homeopathic for generations, there must be something in it. Looked in local phone book (Perth, Australia) for homeopath, saw advert, rang up, guy had a new gadget he was using. Went along, first real help I'd experienced. Over the last 20 years, has been of collossal help to whole family. Computer assisted dermal something or other (Interro); checks the acupuncture points, shows if various organs OK, works out what homeopathic remedy and at what potency - generally at far higher potencies than classical non computer assisted homeopaths, like 200 instead of 6, 30x, etc. Also pinpointed variety of viruses, bacteria, molds, fungi, etc. and did flower remedies for the emotional side. Then the remedies were created by what I suppose is an electro magnetic current of some description when the bottles of water were placed on a plate. Some oral, some topical. Results great. Cured my son of the condition he had coloured glasses for, too - Irlen lenses. You could google for someone near you, maybe, if you wanted to try it. I went to http://www.taracentre.com.au/ select Evaluating methods, then select electrodermal screening. Also there were a couple of other rebalancing gadgets spawned by the space race that helped.

Years later, in the country, got bad again after being well for years. Someone mentioned "cognitive dysfunction. "That's me", I thought. Googled it, ended up on a fibromyalgia site, got a lot of helpful information, started taking guaifenesin. Seemed to help, but it is synthetic. http://www.psha-inc.com/guai-support/ lots of links to other approaches to fibromyalgia too.

I started making and taking colloidal silver to try to lower at least my viral count, which was a good step forward.

After reading up on Hulda Clark, I wanted to do the liver and gall bladder etc. cleanse, but wasn't game to do it alone. Local naturopath (in a country town by now) helped with that. First a herbal product to knock out parasites of all sorts, which can munch through the stomach walls and allow foody bits out where they don't belong, causing all sorts of allergies. By the way, she gave me a urine test to test for dysbiosis and it turned out blue - she had never seen a blue result before, it was the worst result it could be. (At one stage a few years before when the pains were very bad I had decided to get some relief the chemical way and took an antiinflammatory from the Dr; I think it must have pretty near stripped my stomach, from the bad effect it had on me. Gave that up quick smart.) "Weed, feed and seed" is the formula she used to describe the protocol - first knock out the bad guys, then feed and heal the digestive system after the damage they did, then repopulate the gut with the good bacteria. Felt great, so I promptly overdid things, and am just starting another course after testing green (not as bad as at first, but the gut flora are in trouble again).

Some fifteen years ago four to six weeks on an oligoantigenic diet (which I can send you if you like) was a great help; it was devised by Prof C Stewart Goodwin for Chronic Fatigue victimes. Did great, all my pains left me, but over the years one slips away from what one learns.

I think viruses, parasites, bacteria, molds, funguses etc are a huge part of the problem; I think that after some years of being pretty well I may have picked up the old bugs when nursing my mother at home. Even when she went into a nursing home I didn't get better, so it wasn't the stress and overwork alone.

Another thing to research is Coconut Oil - not refined bleached and deodorised, but virgin coconut oil. If it can cure people of AIDS it's got something pretty powerful going on. Some oils don't taste nice, so try a small sample before buying larger quantities. You will likely prefer one with a light, fresh, delicate flavour. I have lots of links if you want.

Rife might help. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Rife/ I don't live near a practitioner, though I did buy an Enar device which has helped with the pain. There are a number of links you could find. My Australian supplier was www.enlightenedtherapies.com Ah, I see Johannes has already sung Rife's praises.

I'll go to bed then!
Every good wish for enlightenment and successful outcome!
Rowena
