Doesn't Atomic Absoprtion Spectrometry measure all silver regardless whether it is ionized, molecular, aggregated (colloidal)? In fact I thought it can't distinguish between atomic, molecular or otherwise. There may be other types but the classical one, If I remember correctly, reduces all metals to the ionic plasma state and measures their specific electronic behavior. If my memory serves right, AA should measure all silver present in the sample. Correct me if I am wrong. Frank Cuns-Rial
