Got cat bit last Wednesday night, really deep on both sides of left
thumb
joint...right IN the joint almost deep enough for the holes to meet.

Wow! That is an amazing example of getting rid of a potentially lethal
infection. I have never had a cat bite but know of people who have and
it can become very serious. In your case it could have been just that
considering the wound. Thanks for sharing Ode. :-)

Ernie

Joint still a little stiff on the second day. Swelling down to normal.
Third day, two reddish dots on thumb, stiffness dimishing.
4th day, almost forgot it happened at all.
Yesterday, day 5, no stiffness, no redness 2 tiny surface scabs, very
slight tenderness under the lower scab.
No infection that I could find any evidence of the whole time.

..almost forgot to write about it this morning.

Oh yea, orally consumed about 8 oz of EIS over the whole period of time.
