Has anyone else downloaded and read the pdf for Argentyn 23; Natural immunogenics 'professional' formulation? It's an interesting but sometimes confusing read. I can't work out whether they are saying its ionic or particles. (Maybe they don't want me to understand)
David http://www.natural-immunogenics.com/argentyn23.php ""Argentyn 23 is comprised strictly of silver metal ions and ultra-pure water."" (So its ionic then, pretty similar to my Silverpuppy stuff?) 'Argentyn 23 contains uniform silver particle sizes approximating 8 Å or 0.8 nanometers'' (Nope, it must be particles. Unless .8 nanometers is the size of an ion.) ""(Comparing it to brand X ) Sold in 10- & 30-ppm concentrations, this commercial product is quite straightforward except that most of the silver is elemental, thus biologicaly inert."" (So if brand X is inert elemental silver, Argentyn must be nert ions) """When looking at colloidal silver, there are two more issues that need to be understood ? silver concentration and particle charge. This makes the silver active.""" (Mmmm ...back to particles again. But now they are active, charged particles) ""Argentyn 23 is made with a proprietary electrolysis process yielding over 90% active silver."" (Electrolysis? that sounds like its ionic again..but whats the other 10%) Actually this is a pretty classy document, obviously aimed at the medical profession, with a lot of impressive scientific and medical references. Its streets ahead of any other brochure I've seen. . And if, as I suspect, it really is just very good quality CS, then it adds a bit of cred to our side of the debate. Theres a few expensive sounding toxicity quotes included too. Overall, I think things like this are good for colloidal silver. Argentyn 23 has also completed the Ames Confirmatory Mutagenicity Assay through Covance Laboratories, Inc. Results clearly revealed no toxicity. (Ref: Assay No. 24742-0- 409OECD; Trial No. C1.) Argentyn 23 has completed the Chromosomal Aberrations Screening (CHO Cells) Assay through Covance Laboratories, Inc. Results clearly demonstrated no toxicity. (Ref: Assay No. 24742-0-437 SC; Study No. 7417- 101.) -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver.
